SKYN® condoms are already lubricated, but there’s no harm adding a little extra! Just make sure the lube and condoms you’re using are compatible. All our lubes are compatible with all our condoms (Except ‘Oh Baby’ which is designed to help people get pregnant!).

Water-based, silicone-based, and oil-based lubes are the most common. At SKYN we recommend water-based and silicon-based lubes as they feel natural and are compatible with our condoms (only use water-based lubes with our toys). Don’t use oil-based lubricants such as oils, body lotions, baby oil, butter, margarine, petroleum jelly, etc. with condoms, as anything containing oil can damage the condoms. Only use compatible lubricants.

While some woman’s vaginas get wet when sexually aroused, many women find that extra lubrication makes sex even more enjoyable. Other body parts, like the anal area, don’t create any wetness, so you should always use lubrication when having anal sex.

While some substances have a reputation for being natural lubes (butter, coconut oil, water…) the reality is they can cause health issues and are not always compatible with condoms. It’s best to stick to specially made lubes like the lubes listed here. Enjoy!
